Giorgos Goniadis graduated in 2013 from the International and European Studies department, with a specialization in Politics and Diplomacy at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki. During his studies he worked as an intern at Maersk Line in Thessaloniki, at UNESCO Chair of the University of Macedonia and at the Assembly of European Regions in Strasbourg. In 2015 he received his MSc in Sustainable Development Strategies at the International Hellenic University. Since September 2014 he is coordinating a group of self-motivated students named "Students for Sustainability" at the International Hellenic University and organizing various events towards public awareness and social development. He has been actively participating in various initiatives and projects promoting public awareness and urban development. He is fluent in Greek, English and French.

Maria Lampridi graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. For the past five years she has been working as a Freelancer Mechanical Engineer on subjects closely related to Sustainable Development. She is a licensed Energy Inspector for Buildings as well as Heating and Cooling Installations. She is a Member of the Standing Committee of Energy and Environment of the Technical Chamber of Greece in the section of Central Macedonia. Currently she is conducting a MSc in Sustainable Development with a specialization in Sustainable Strategies. She speaks Greek, English and Italian.

Konstantinos Karanikolas graduated in 2012 with a Tourism Management (BS) degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece (Awarded with Commendation of Excellence). Alexandros Melikokis

Alexandros Melikokis graduated in 2012 from the Business School at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. He complimented his studies with a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and Sustainable Tourism at the International Hellenic University in Greece, while at the same time gathering experience in the tourism industry by working for Meli Tours, an Incoming Tour Operator and Destination Management Company based in Greece. He is currently the Corporate Services Manager of Meli Group, a Group of Travel & Tourism Enterprises, which offer a full spectrum of Destination Management and Handling services in Greece.

 

Nikolaos Manes

Manes Nikolaos completed his studies as a mechanical engineer in 2009 with a specialization in Environment and pollution control technologies. He, later on, finished his MSc studies (2014) in Sustainable Development, specialized in Sustainable Tourism and now he works as a freelance engineer.

Eirini Boti graduated in 2012 with an Agricultural Economics  (BS) degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece. She  continued her studies with a Master of Science (MSc) in Sustainable Development of the International Hellenic University (Greece) and with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) of the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). Charoula Melliou

Charoula Melliou graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013, having attended during her studies the Erasmus Program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg, France, in 2011. She became a lawyer in 2015. She holds an MSc Degree with Distinction in Sustainable Development from the International Hellenic University, having specialized in Sustainable Tourism (2015). Her extra-curricular activities included, among others, participation in the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law in 2012, in the European Schools Debating Championship 2006, and in several Model United Nations conferences during her student years. She speaks Greek, English and French.

 

Kallithea (Ellie) Melliou

Kallithea (Ellie) Melliou graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) in 2011, having attended a semester of studies in the framework of the Erasmus Programme at the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg, France, in 2009. She specialized in cultural property and copyright protection by obtaining the Master's Degree (MA) with Distinction in Art, Law and Economy from the International Hellenic University (2014). Throughout her student years, she had been actively involved in several Model United Nations conferences and European Youth Parliament sessions. She is currently a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association and serves as an external associate to the UNESCO Chair/A.U.Th. She speaks Greek, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Italian.

 

Liana Sargsyan

Liana Sargsyan is a graduate of the Agricultural Economics Department of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During her undergraduate studies she attended a semester of studies in the University of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of Perugia, Italy, as an Erasmus student. In 2016 she complimented her studies of her Master's Degree in the Sustainable Development programme of International Hellenic University and in Agricultural Economics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a member of the Hellenic Association for Information and Communication Technologies in Agriculture Food and Environment (HAICTA). She is actively involved in the new shaped Nutrition Council of Thessaloniki which aims to shape local nutritional policies. Apart from Greek and Armenian which are her mother tongues, she speaks English, Italian and Russian. 

 

Andreas Theodorou

Andreas Theodorou is a senior student majoring in International Relations at Panteion University, Department of International, European, and Area Studies. He currently works as a junior researcher in the Institute of International Relations in Athens. He has completed his internship in the Directorate for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe (CoE). He has served in the Organizing Committee for the first edition of the International Conference for Sustainable Development. He is an awarded participant in student simulations of international organizations which follow the Model United Nations' tradition. He is a member of the Study Society of Ioannis Kapodistrias' Work. He speaks Greek, English, and French.
