Academic Research Partner for the €7.654.025 H2020-EU.2.1.5.2 project “A novel decentralized edge-enabled PREsCriptivE and ProacTive framework for increased energy efficiency and well-being in residential buildings (PRECEPT), which produced two conference papers (1, 2) 2020-24.

Collaborator for the ₤350K, Greek General Secretariat for Research & Technology funded project on: “Dynamic Networking of Enterprises using Intelligent Software Agent” (e-Furniture), 2013-15, which produced three conference papers (1, 2, 3).

Project Consultant for the INTERREG IVC- ERDF 1.703.964€ project: “Transfer Of Knowledge – Transfer Of human Capital” (TOK-TOC), 2012-14.

Principle Investigator for the ₤300K, Greek General Secretariat for Research & Technology funded project on "Software system quality evaluation based on the ISO 9126 standard", 2006-08. This was a collaboration with the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics at the University of Patras and Dynacomp SA. Christos led a team comprising 5 researchers. The project produced 3 conference papers (1, 2, 3) and 2 journal papers (4, 5).

Co-Investigator in the ₤65K, EPSRC funded grant: "SOSoRNet: Service-Oriented Software Research Network", 2005-08. The Network aiming at building an interdisciplinary and self-sustaining international community of researchers and practitioners leading the development and deployment of service-oriented software technologies.

Co-Investigator in an E-learning project funded by the University of Manchester, aiming at facilitating and evaluating academic team working through Web-based collaboration, 2006-07.

Knowledge Base Adviser in a ₤100K, DTi funded KTP project on developing new software tools and methodologies to deliver the next generation of products with PAS Ltd, 2005-07.

External Collaborator in a Health Association Rule Mining project, 2006, with the Department of Computer Science, Liverpool Hope University, which produced two conference papers ( 1, 2) .

Lead Academic in a ₤100K, DTi funded KTP project on developing a diagnostic framework, hardware and software tools to increase speed and efficiency in data recovery with Data Clinic Ltd,2005-07.

Lead Academic in a ₤100K, DTi funded, KTP project on strategic development, maintenance and evolution of existing network management software with ACCODA LTD, 2004-06. The project aims included integrating existing products into the MS.Net operating platform providing for NPD introduction and BPR improvements and produced one conference paper.

Data mining specialist for the ₤1M JISC, BBSRC & EPSRC funded National Centre of Text Mining. 2004-06.

Advisor for a ₤120K, EPSRC funded, TCS project on Knowledge Management, Data and Text Mining with Premier Systems Technology Ltd, 2000-02.
