Divide approximately half the examination period between each of the two sections.  Section A has 30 multiple-choice questions and Section B has two case-study based, problem-solving questions of which you must answer one.

Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions »

Section B: Problem-Solving Questions »

Section A: Multiple Choice Questions

[1] Read each question and identify the most likely answer. Circle the answer on the question paper initially.  Indicate with a TICK, the answers in which you have most confidence.  Put a QUESTION MARK against those answers over which you have some doubts.  Leave blank those questions which you have no idea.

[2] Review the questions whose answer has a question mark.  Start by eliminating the answers which are obviously wrong.  Review the remaining answers.

[3] Revisit the questions for which you have no answer.  Start by eliminating the answers which are obviously wrong.  Review the remaining answers.

[4] Review all answers and transfer them to the official answer sheet.

Section B: Problem-Solving Questions

[1] Read the main part of the question (not the case study) to see what the question is about.  Be aware that questions have several parts and may cover different issues.

[2] Select the question which you feel most confident in answering and carefully read the case study.  Underline the key words that are relevant to the question.

[3] Normally the question will ask you to prepare one or more models based upon the case study.  Draft an answer bearing in mind the need for accuracy in your answer and do not add things which do not appear in the case study.  Check ahead to the next parts of the question as these can sometime give you a clue as to what the 'difficulty' might be in the case study.
