The Software Analysis and Design practical will be conducted as a group exercise.  You are invited to nominate your group of 6 members.  Only complete groups of 6 will guarantee group membership and preference in tutorial timetabling.  If you return a form with anything other than 6 members, the form will be ignored in the allocation process.

To form a group, members should be listed below and submitted.  You should put your name on ONE FORM ONLY- if you appear on more than one form you may end up in none of the groups you nominate!  Please note the following group restrictions:

  • If you are a Management and IT student, you may only be in a group with other Management and IT students

  • If you are a Computing and Geography student, you may only be in a group with other Computing and Geography students

  • If you are a Maths and Software Engineering student, you may only be in a group with other Maths and Software Engineering students

  • If you are a Biological and Computing Sciences student, you may only be in a group with other Biological and Computing Sciences students.

If you are not nominated in a group, you will automatically be assigned to a group.

Groups cannot be changed except for good reason, during weeks 1 and 2 only.

When forming a group, think carefully about who should be in the group.  In particular, you should think about the style of working that group members will use (leader, collaborative, unmanaged!) and the time and place of group meetings (early morning, evenings, weekends).  Further information on choosing group members can be found on the group working page.
